Ghanaian Afro-pop, Dancehall, Reggae artiste Stonebwoy has organised a peace walk at Ashaiman as part of the campaign to promote peace and unity before, during and after the 2020 general elections. He said peace messages needed to be drummed in Ghana and across the regions and therefore called on all on all Ghanaians to spread the message
Stonebwoy, while imploring citizens to exercise their franchise in the forthcoming elections, also cautioned Ghanaians against violence which can destabilize the development of the country. With love and understanding, he said Ghana can wear its good cloth.
Ghana has good reason to celebrate peace, with eight elections and several peaceful transitions of power, making it one of few countries in west Africa to hold elections without violence or the threat of civil war.
