EFYA ON PLAYING MORE THAN FREE 15 SHOWS

Ghanaian songstress Efya says, as a musician you have to work harder to

get to the top. She shared on social media how she began her career in the

music industry. She said she tried very hard to get some time off from the

university, travel to other places to perform for free, and sometimes it was

difficult getting a helping hand, especially in the music industry when

coming up. She advised, up-and-coming musicians not to relax because they

feel like they’ve got 1 or 2 hit songs out and so they can stop working now,

but rather work harder to maintain.
